WA: Severe thunderstorm advice

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ADVICE
Issued at 9:45 am WST on Tuesday, 15 August 2000
People in the southern part of the Lower West District and the South West
District including Mandurah and Bunbury are advised that there is a risk of
severe thunderstorms from now until mid-afternoon.
Storms may be accompanied by flash flooding and strong winds that could result
in damage to property.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should keep a lookout for
thunderstorms and if storms approach secure loose items, move vehicles under
cover, then stay indoors until the storms have passed. Driving conditions may be
hazardous.
This Thunderstorm Advice will be updated at 12.30 pm this afternoon.
